Weso Family mourns

Grief is the soul’s echo to love. When someone we love departs from this world, we are left with a silence that is louder than any noise—a space that cannot be filled, a longing that has no easy remedy.

Mourning is not a sign of weakness, but a reflection of the depth of love we shared with Robert Odembo.

For the Christian, though grief is deep, it is not without hope. We mourn our brother, but not as those who have no future. Our faith reminds us that death is not the end. As painful as the separation is, we hold onto the promise of eternal life in Christ. One day, God will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4).

To the family, Maseno University WESO Fellowship, Nairobi non-student fellowship, Nairobi Region and WESO at large, we mourn the departure of a great soldier in the kingdom of God. May the Lord strengthen each one of us during this difficult moment.

    1. Indeed this is a very difficult moment for this family, friends and relatives. As WESO Family we have lost such a soldier and family members. May the Lord God comfort the family. Let us all meet there on Saturday and see them off.
